FAQs

If you have any questions regarding our gym, please review our FAQs

  • Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?

Not at all! CrossFit is for everyone — from complete beginners to lifelong athletes. Our coaches scale every workout to your level and make sure you feel comfortable, safe, and challenged.

  • What will my first session be like?

You’ll get a quick tour, meet your coach, go through a warm-up, and take on a workout scaled to your ability. It’s a great way to learn what we’re about and leave feeling accomplished.

  • Who are the classes designed for?

Our classes are for anyone ready to get stronger, move better, and feel more confident. Whether you’re training for life or sport, we’ll help you get there.

  • How often should I come to the gym?

2–3 days a week is a great place to start. Once your body adjusts and you find your rhythm, you can build up to more based on your goals.

  • What happens in a typical class?

Each class is 60 minutes and coach-led. You’ll start with a warm-up, then move into a strength or skill component, and finish with a high-intensity workout (MetCon). Everything is scaled to your level.

  • What kind of training do we do?

We focus on constantly varied, functional movements — strength training, skill development, conditioning, mobility, and more. The workouts change daily and are always coach-led.

  • I’m not in shape… can I still do this?

Yes — and we’re here for you. You don’t need to “get fit” to start. That’s what we’re here to help with. We’ll meet you where you are and help you build up at your own pace.

  • Is CrossFit safe for beginners?

Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to help you learn proper technique, scale workouts to your ability, and build confidence one session at a time.

  • I heard lifting weights makes you bulky. Is that true?

Nope! Strength training helps you build lean muscle, burn fat, and feel more energized. You’ll get stronger, not bigger — unless that’s what you want.

  • Why is your gym more expensive than a typical gym?

Because you’re not just paying for access — you’re getting expert coaching, personalized support, daily programming, and a true community. It’s training with purpose, not just access to machines.

  • Are there long-term contracts?

No contracts here. Our memberships are flexible — you can pause or cancel anytime. We want you here because you love it, not because you’re locked in.

  • Do you offer personal training?

Yes! Coach Ann and Coach Nick offer both 1-on-1 and semi-private coaching options. It’s great if you want extra guidance or are working toward a specific goal.

  • Do you have classes for kids and teens?

Absolutely! We run CrossFit Youth (ages 5–12) and High School Athlete sessions (13+). They’re fun, safe, and designed to build confidence and athletic skills.

  • What’s the youngest age that can train here?

Kids can start at age 5 in our youth program. Teens can begin training in our high school classes. Adults of all ages are welcome in our main classes.

  • What should I bring to class?

Just wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle, and show up ready to move. We’ve got the rest covered — including the encouragement.

  • Can I try a class before signing up?

Definitely! Just head to our Contact Page to book your free trial or chat with a coach about the best place to start.
